    Im Norden der Stadt findet man den etwa 100 Hektar großen Stadtpark mit einer Olivenplantage aus dem 12. Jahrhundert. Die Obstplantagen aus dem 19. Jahrhundert, mit den Dattelpalmenkulturen, einem Wasserbecken und einem Palais. Treffpunkt vieler junger Leute, Studenten und Familien die Mittags hier picknicken und sich vergnügen oder erholsame Stunden erleben.

    Bab Agnaou

    Im Nordosten der Altstadt in der Nähe der Moschee Ben Youssef befindet sich ein Stadttor, auch Donnerstagstor (Bab el Khemis) genannt. Dieses Tor stammt noch aus der Almoravidenzeit (1061-1147), wurde allerdings in der Zwischenzeit mehrfach umgebaut. Früher gab es in der Umgebung donnerstags einen Kamelmarkt, daher hat das Tor seinen Namen. Das Tor war früher Eingang zur Gartenstadt und zum jüdischen Viertel.
