The Washington Apartments are a group of four apartments located near Vondel Park in the centre of Amsterdam. One of the apartments sleeps up to 3 people, and the other three sleep up to 4 people. The apartments are found in a pretty, large family home, in a quiet part of Amsterdam. The area is called 'de Pijp' which is the museum quarter. This is also where the famous Albert Cuyp market is found, which is a brilliant place to discover bargains to take home with you. Within walking distance of the apartments are the Van Gogh Museum, the largest square in Amsterdam, and the Rijksmuseum.
The Washington Apartments have simple, attractive decoration. Each apartment measures 40 m2 and contains amenities and facilities such as fans, hair-dryer, microwave, cots for babies (upon request), TV, CD player, and internet access. The first apartment, which sleeps up to 3 people, has an open plan living/bedroom with three single beds, a private bathroom, a kitchen and a balcony. The other apartments are the same, except that they sleep one more person and have a double bed in place of one of the single beds. The staff is friendly and helpful, so you'll feel right at home. There is a left-luggage office for those arriving very early or leaving late.

Hotel Washington is warm and friendly 2-star hotel, located in the quiet, but central Museums area in Amsterdam, in the 'de Pijp' neighbourhood. This hotel is situated in what used to be a large family house built at the beginning of the 20th century. The committed staff, the hospitality and comfortable atmosphere make this the ideal place to get to know the city of Amsterdam, and often attract international musicians who are in town to perform at the nearby concert hall. Hotel Washington is set near Museum Square, the biggest square in Amsterdam, surrounded by important museums such as the Rijksmuseum, which is the country’s national art museum, and the Van Gogh Museum, not forgetting the royal Concertgebouw, the concert building which is also the location of the most renowned Dutch market: the 'Albert Cuyp' from Monday to Saturday.
All 22 rooms have their own special charm and are decorated in a simple and elegant style, in keeping with the character of the house. Guests may choose from among the following room types: singles, doubles/twins or triples with private bathrooms, (triples have a private balcony), quadruples with a private bathroom and singles and doubles/twins with a shared bathroom. All of the rooms come equipped with a telephone, TV, WiFi Internet access, a safe, hair dryer, heating and fans. The hotel offers a continental breakfast included in the price of the room. Please note that the hotel has no lift but does have a left-luggage office, laundry facilities and wireless Internet access in public areas.
