Frommers recommends to go for this "newly restored" hotel instead of one of the "familiar luxury trappings" of the large chain hotels of the city. The reason for this is that guest will get the "opportunity" to experience the "early history" of the city only in this house, which used to be the former house of a delegate of the first Turkish parliament. The area where the hotel is located is "blissfully" still quite untouched by "tourist overdevelopment", the archaeological museum being just nearby. Guest are personally taken care of by the owner of the hotel who sometimes even plays some local [more]
