Cliffs of Moher

The Cliffs of Moher in County Clare stretch for 5miles and 700 feet over the Atlantic Ocean. The landscape of the cliffs has welcomed visitors who come to wonder their grandeur and to be close to nature. You can see Puffins from April to July , more than 60,000 seabirds nest here. There are over 750m of pathways within the visitor centre area with raised platforms for great viewing and 20 kilometres of a trail connecting the villages of Liscannor and Doolin. O’Brien’s tower built in 1835 is open to the public. The award winning eco-friendly visitor centre is built into the hillside. The Burren and Cliffs of Moher have been awarded Geopark status supported by UNESCO. Liscannor is only 5km north, Doolin is 8km south and Ennis is 38 km far from the Cliffs.
