[David, 08/07/2010] Arbanassi is an old village 5 kms from Veliko Tarnovo - one of the oldest towns in Bulgaria also capital between 11-13 century.
The village is turistic center and architectural prereserve, which means buildings there are protected by law, and even the new buildings must be in same old style.
There you can see more foreigner than Bulgarians, as it is very popular destination.
Apart from the many hotels, restaurants and few churches, the village is interesting by it self. You can walk on the streets looking at the houses and their yards, even the big entrance doors are so interesting and differe
