- Copperhill Mountain Lodge is a mountain resort hotel in Åre, Sweden. The hotel offers 112 suites and rooms, a gourmet restaurant, après-ski restaurant with live music, lounges and bars, luxury SPA, kids’ club, its own helicopter service and ski lift. The location has been selected because of its uniqueness with magnificent views over the mountains and lakes, as well as ski-in/ski- out access to Scandinavia’s largest ski area. Åre’s lift system runs from November 1 until April 30. In the summer and autumn period the destination offers a complete selection of mountain activities and events, ranging from world-class mountainbike tracks to opera festival. The resort is designed in a modern lodge style setting by American architect Peter Bohlin, famous for creating Bill Gates’ private home and Apple’s prestigious stores in London, New York and Tokyo. Now he is making an exclusive appearance in Scandinavia with the creation of Copperhill Mountain Lodge. The destination is situated 1 or 1.5 hours drive from the international airports of Åre-Östersund and Trondheim-Værnes in Norway.
