The Anantara Sathorn is in Narathiwat Road, a bit backwards from Sathorn Road. The hotel has two high buildings, one of these seems to be occupied mostly by condos. The staff at the front desk in the huge lobby is very friendly and check-in was fast. The room in the 32nd floor came with great views.

The 1-Bedroom-Suite had a rather big living room with lounge area and dining table with small kitchenette. The refrigerator was stocked with a lot of items. There was free internet connection and a big LCD TV with digital channels (but no HBO and no Starmovies). The balcony came with great views over Bangkok. Everything was nicely designed in modern style. Condition was excellent. The bedroom could be access via a sliding door. There was a king size bed and a second TV. In the wardrobe iron/ironing board, bathrobes and a safe. The bathroom could be access from both the living and the bedroom. It was quite large and had bath tub and shower cubicle. The design was nicely done too.

The lobby is characterized by glass and dark floors, it's quite high. Check-in and check-out were very friendly and we got the room we wanted. Late check-out was no problem.
Passing the lobby to the elevators one passes the lobby bar which looked nice too but was not very frequented.
The hotel has a nice and long outdoor pool, with a pool bar area. Service was great, sometimes water and a selection of fruit were brought to the deckchairs. There's also a gym. And they also have a spa but didn't check this out.

No breakfast taken, only room service dinner which was nice. Good quality food and nicely presented. Price level ok for a hotel of this level.

The Anantara Sathorn is in Narathiwat road, a bit away from Sathorn Road. BTS station chong nonsi can however reached within 10-15 minutes by foot. The hotel is a bit backwards from Narathiwat road, has to be reached by a small side path, so it's however rather quiet. There's a big Japanese fish restaurant between Narathiwat and the hotel.
