This was my first Hotel on my first visit to Thailand in 1987 with my mother and I have been returning, if not always to stay, to its location ever since.
My mother who tavels to Thailand almost twice a year, always complains if she can't get a room as has to book elsewhere.
The area has changed a lot, service and perfection fortunatly not. Four Seasons is a standard for quality, sure its expensive but every Penny you spent is worth it.

The deluxe rooms are big with comfortable king size bed, all desired amenities including bathrobe and slippers, you shouldn't expect less in a luxury Hotel, I would rate it 5star plus.
Some rooms with nice views to the outdoor swimming pool, the problem these days is due work construction outside of the hotel, they are building some skyscrapers around the Hotel and it can get noisy during the day.
The room service is fast, efficient and very friendly.

The building is traditional Thai architecture, very nice with painted ceilings and magnificient wooden artwork .
At the entrance they usualy are 2 portiers which open the doors for you with a hughe smile every time you go in or out.
Once your enter you have a very spacious lobby with a piano bar con the left side of the entrance, if you turn slightly right and continue straight you have the large dark wooden reception desk where they make your check in quick and easy.
As I love Thai cuisine i have only tried the Spicy Market which is the Hotel's Thai restaurant, and one the Bangkok's best.
They also offer a steakhouse, an Italian and a japanese Restaurant.
Three bars, the piano bar in the lobby, one on the countryard and the last one on the poolside.
The hotel has also an renamed Spa but I prefer the intimacy of my room for a good foot massage.

Quiet Location

Located near one of the bussiest areas of Bangkok but sufficiently apart from the noise, at maximum 7 minutes walking distance you have a nice temple always full of locals and the temple is almost surrounded with hughe shopping malls like World Trade Center and Siam Paragon.
Acces to the skytrain almost in front of the hotel to your left, shopping malls to the right, suggest not to take any tuktuk or taxi as it is really near and traffic jams are very big in the area.
