The guide says that the hotel "has it all". There are "excellent restaurants", "Rolls Royce service" and "designer boutiques". The rooms are described as "spacious" and very well equipped and comfortable, so "why get out of the bed?".

The author, Caroline Major describes the appearance of the hotel as evoking China in your imagination with its "white walls, curled grey slate roof, red joists and red gargoyles". She writes about the three types of suites. First, the Presidential Suite with modern Chinese interiors in a contemorary style that is "cozy yet elite".
