Sir Thomas & Lady Dixon Park has a total land area of 128 acres which features various attractions such as the Japanese Garden, International Camellia Trials, Walled Garden, Golden Crown Fountain and the International Rose Garden where more than 45,000 rose bushes are grown. There are activities being held inside the park like the Music in the Park and the Rose Week which brings thousands of visitors every year. The Park also has an historical significance - it served as a base for American troops during the World War II. The park is part of the Lagan Valley Regional Park system under the management of Belfast City Council. It is open every day with free admission.
