It is in the north of the city making it ideal for escaping to the Antrim coast. There are two parks, a hill with views across the city and two castles in the area around Sleepy Cedars. Sleepy Cedars has three guest rooms - one double with en suite bathroom and two doubles which share a bathroom, one with a sink in the room. Facilities available for guests include free on site car parking, free wi-fi internet access, colour television and DVD player in each room and a DVD library, hospitality tray, iron and board, and hair dryer. Travel cots can be provided for infants on request. Guests can relax in the lounge with its open fireplace.

Cave Hill Country Park

The park covers more than 750 acres of green hills and a forest. This nature spot provides breeding grounds for wildlife, both plants and animals. The look-out area, McArt's Fort offers panoramic views of Belfast Lough, Belfast port and nearby towns of Country Antrim. The locations of Belfast Castle and Belfast Zoo, including caves are part of the archaeological and historical grounds of Cave Hill Country Park. There are designated walk paths and trails/routes for better access to the look-out point and other scenic spots of the park. The Cave Hill Visitor Centre is housed at Belfast Castle for additional information about the park and other scenic attractions within the area. Admission and parking in the park are free everyday.
