The 39-storey hotel towers over Alexanderplatz. The rooms have various degrees of comfort. There is a viewing platform on the top floor. Click here for information on Marco Polo travel guides

The hotel is in a great location and has lots of bars, restaurants, things to do and transport links. I feel that the location is the reason why the rating is so high as the facilities provided do not match 4 in my opinion. There were no issues with the staff, all staff members I came across were lovely and polite. Quite a slow check-in & out process, should be more staff on reception for the size of the hotel. Don't bother with the over priced ...

one of the largest buildings in the center of Berlin, rooms were on the 23th floor, with high-speed elevators, breakfast was good; dinner in hotel-restaurant was not the best choice, very beautifull bar, but we waited longtime to have our dishes and eating outside the hotel was much more fun! we will come back, but by airplane and train; car parkings are not cheap

By far the best stay in a long time on a city break. The room was above average. Ther service was excellent, and the location was stunning. We had views all over Berlin from the 33rd floor.

We stayed here so that we could take part in the Berlin Half Marathon so it was superbly located for the start and finish lines. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was far above our expectations and service impeccable. Very quiet rooms and great views - we were on the 30th floor. As a non-smoker, it was good to see the hotel encourage the smokers to sit on a disused old bus to enjoy their "habit" rather than pollute the entrance. ...

Week-end Club

Week-end Club

The Weekend Club was opened in November 2004, at the "Haus Des Reisens" building in Alexanderplatz. It became famous due to its style, kicking sound and lighting installations. The peak party time here is from 2 am to sunrise. It is open for clubbing from Thursdays to Saturdays and consists of three areas called 12th, 15th floor and roof. 12th floor, was the first floor to open with the focus on the centre of the room - a bar, surrounded by a small dance floor and a quiet lounge area. It is surrounded by windows, giving a nice view over Berlin. 15th floor was opened in February 2007. Its walls and bar are painted black. It has individually controllable spots on the ceiling and a programmable LED wall lighting. The bar is located directly behind the DJ booth in the rear of the room. At the roof there is more relaxed atmosphere, with views over the Berlin and almost no furniture. The club is also open for premiers and private celebrations. The nearest U-bahn stations is "Aleksanderplatz".
