Opposite the Boston Common, and right on the Freedom Trail the Nine Zero hotel is ideally located to explore Boston.

Boston Common

Boston Common ist der älteste öffentliche Park Amerikas. Ursprünglich gehörte er William Blackstone, der 1622 nach Boston kam. Der Park an sich wurde zuerst als Gemeinschaftsweide für die Kühe der Stadtbewohner genutzt. Danach wurde der Park ein Trainingparcours für die Miliz und später ein Armeequartier der Britischen Armee, die Boston während des Unabhängigkeitskrieges besetzt hielt. Über viele Jahre wurden auf diesem Platz Feste gefeiert, Duelle ausgetragen und Reden gehalten, doch heute ist er ein ruhiger Platz inmitten der Innenstadt.
