The Elevage is located just off the lovely tree lined San Martin Square and within one minutes walk of Florida the pedestrianised main Street and the Subte (Metro). The hotel itself is relatively modern. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The general fabric overall is a bit tired and in need of a general refurbishment. Breakfast is good, plenty of fresh fruit yogurt and cereals plus cold meats, and various breads . There is something hot on offer every morning (avoid the scrambled egg ,which is always sloppy and really quite awful ). There is an outdoor swimming pool which has some greenery surrounding it , not huge but adequate. The opening hours are a bit erratic and this can be very annoying however a real bonus in a city centre hotel. Good room service. Friendly staff. Have not eaten in the restaurant. Too many good restaurants locally ( Try Tencat just round the corner Excellent!) But nice bar downstairs. Overall good value and great location. I have just booked for the third year running
