  • Centre Historique Medieval

    Centre Historique Medieval

This museum commemorates the battle of Agincourt fought in 1415 between the French and the English. It was a victory for the English, whose longbowmen defeated the heavily armoured French knights. The museum has displays of weaponry and armour (which can be handled), tableaux of the battle and videos of re-enactments. It is especially geared up for school groups and provides instruction sheets and a guide. The actual battlefield is nearby and the museum provides a map for visitors to walk round.
