This dump is so bad I wouldnt even grace it with a rating except that I need to let everyone know not to stay there. The old saying is you get what you pay for, but that needn't be so as we experienced in Chicago when staying with La Quinta...same sort of price and the standard was superb. Next stop Florida and I had booked at the Ramada suites because I thought it would be a chain with standards...HOW WRONG I WAS!!!
The first room we were given hadnt even been serviced and smelt...the second room we were given had been serviced and smelt worse with black mould spores everywhere in the living/sleeping room. We asked for our money back so as we could find somewhere else and were told that they wouldnt so we finally settled on a marginally less offensive room.
Folks I am 51 years of age, I have traveled a bit and have always preferred to stay in budget accommodation and put more money into the experience enjoying what the area has to offer...after all I only need a clean bed to lay my head, but I seriously have not stayed in a worse place. I have taken photos and intend to send them to the Ramada chain
