Reviews Salmo Patagonia Lodge
Double Pleasure!!
From trivagohoman (57) (11/25/2010)
After visiting twice, Salmo Patagonia Lodge is the place of fly-fishing paradise. A place to relax and experience what the true Chilean and Spanish cultural has to offer. The lodge is situated high in the mountains over-looking the Coyhaique Valley and without a doubt a commanding view. Especially at night. Coyhaique lights up like the city lights of Los Angeles. You'll never feel alone at night. Not to mention the property is sitting next to ...
Viva Salmo
From Probadguy (66) (10/11/2010)
I stayed at the Salmo lodge, and not only did the lodge owner Luis show me many spots that were superb and produced countless big brown trout, but his staff fulfilled all of my needs. I found the food very good, and a surprise at every meal with some local dishes. The guides were very helpful getting me to some of the remote locations. It was especially helpful that they spoke good English. It was lots of fun sharing all of the days fishing ...
From trivago traveler (49) (10/11/2010)
Luis and his staff provide the best of everything. The lodge is beautiful, the scenery was breathtaking, the fishing was better than any place I have ever been. Luis and his staff met my every wish and went above and beyond. The meals were excellent and most times were more than I could eat. I love this place and plan on making it an annual trip. What do the English no about food anyway???!!! Salmo Patagonia Lodge is definately one of those ...
Beautiful Lodge/Terrible Service
From trivago traveler (63) (06/15/2009)
This lodge is well built and in a beautiful spot. The fishing is excellent and our guides were fabulous. They were not full-time SPL guides. The food was absolutely terrible and the in-keeper, after writing us otherwise and being shown the email, refused to live up to his bargain with us. He did not accept Traveler's Check and changed the price at the last minute. When we reviewed the email, it was clear he had said he would accept TC's, ...
Hotel comment on this review I am Luis Antúnez, Salmo Patagonia Lodge owner. I am sorry you says that because the following reasons: 1 I had you at my home only for lodging, breakfast and dinner. 2 The fishing was provided by another company Tres Piedras Lodge and Castaño Brothers, so I do not know why you talk about "our guides" you never went with them. 3 I never make a deal with you, I make the deal with this company, so you never received any offer or deal from me. 4 I charged you US150 per day and person and you tried to go away without pay your bill, trying to pay by Visa that we never acept and are shown in all the rooms, our websites and others. 5 You ofered me to wire the money when you back home and I told you simply not. You said that at the end of the trip when everything was perfect. 6 You travel to Argentina where you also cause several problems with other Hotel and fishing guide, if you want I can write down their names and details about what you did. 7 You was trying to take money from me saying you will follow writing down bad things about myself and my company if I do not pay you US 1000 in cash and I can resend the e-mail you sent to José Castaño saying that. 8 I am very safe because in my website I have hundreds of testimonials from people around The World talking about me and repeating their trips some more than 15 years. I am very sorry about you if you want to spend a free holiday in this beautiful country you tried the wrong way. If anything was bad you know I was ready to solve and try to help you. If you really sufered what you says is simply you put me in court and law will say who is wrong, do not write hidden on a website without and address, write to me, you are a layer so you know what to do. Thanks for write this bad comment it helps me my customers write against it saying what they know. You had many different ways to talk with me and solve any problem, I am very sorry about you. Luis Antúnez
