Rolf Schrömgens - Product, Marketing & International
Rolf founded trivago and is responsible for the areas of Product, Marketing and International. He has been active as an internet entrepreneur since 1999. He founded the consumer portal amiro.de, which later merged with Ciao.com. At Ciao.com Rolf was appointed Director of Product Development and Strategy, and successfully led the international product launch of the company.
Rolf studied in Essen, Chicago, and Leipzig. He holds an MBA from the Leipzig Graduate School of Management.
Malte Siewert - Sales, Finance & BD
Malte is a co-founder of trivago and is responsible for the areas of Finance, Sales and Business Development. Prior to trivago he worked for HSBC and Merrill Lynch for six years, where he advised numerous M&A and Capital Market transactions.
Malte studied in Greifswald, Washington, and Leipzig. He holds an MBA from the Leipzig Graduate School of Management.
Peter Vinnemeier - Technology
Peter is a co-founder of trivago and head of Technology. Earlier in his career, he established amiro.de and in the course of the merger with Ciao.com, he became the CTO. Peter was responsible for the successful integration of the two platforms, and headed a team of programmers that built a technological backbone to cope with the enormous growth of Ciao.com. Peter was also an independent technology advisor to start up and consumer product companies.
Peter studied in Gießen, Chicago, and Leipzig. He holds an MBA from the Leipzig Graduate School of Management.
