    Museum für Lackkunst

    This museum opened its doors to the public in 1993 and is dedicated to the history of lacquer. This is the only lacquer art museum in the world. The collections that are housed here have been built up since the 1930's and there are exhibitions from China, Europe, Japan and Russia. Guided tours around the museum are available and there is a shop where you can buy lacquered pieces. The museum is open Tuesdays through to Sunday (and bank holidays) from 12 midday until 6pm (and until 8pm on Tuesdays) Admission charges are: Adults - 3 Euros Concessions - 2 Euros Children under 6 - Free
