The Irish Museum Of Modern Art in Dublin has the largest collection of contemporary and modern art nationwide. If you visit IMMA, you can choose from a variety of exhibitions of leading Irish and international artists, participate in free public tours, enjoy a walk through the breathtaking 17th century gardens, grab a bite and drink some nice coffee in the Cafe and then buy some souvenirs in the IMMA shop.The museum is home to more than 3,500 artworks, which are rooted in the present. New works are added to the collection annually with high emphasis on work from the 1940s on. The admission is free of charge, except for some particular exhibitions.
