According to the author the hotel is a "very standard chain hotel". It is located in a "very pricey" area, so the hotel is "a welcome reprieve" with it prices. The hotel's rooms are "nothing exciting", but "brand new", "sparkling clean" and "larger than that of a typical motel". The hotel offers "freebies" to its guests like "local phone calls, parking, in-room movies, breakfast buffet" as well as "hot drinks around the clock". In the writers opinion these complimentary offers makeit "a real steal". The hotel it'self doesnt have "restaurant or bar" but it is "close to lots of both". The hotels is located "only about half a mile" to the "heart" of the Grove's shopping and "retail area" and as far "from Coral Gables". The location is "quiet" and "convenient" as it is "at the residential end of Brickell Avenue", and "15 minutes" from South Beach and "5 minutes" from Coconut Grove. In conclusion the author says that the hotel is a "good bet" for travelers who "would rather save (their) money for dining and entertainment". Frommer's recommend a stay.
