First impressions when we walked in were that the decor is a cheap effort to make the hotel appear to be more than what it is... seemed like facias to a renovated multistorey car park at first! But then it grew on us...

The rooms are enormous with 2 of the best TVs I've ever seen in a hotel of any star rating. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. The bathroom was simple but spatious and clean.
This place is odd but it works really well.

At first we weren't sure about the location either but it turned out that the location is perfect. Go out of the front entrance, take 2 right turns and you are next to all of the visitor attractions including 6th Floor Museum / Grassy Knowle. Go out of the hotel and take a few left turns and you are in the heart of the the business and downtown shopping district.

The only negative is that even after we'd turned of the air-conditioning the ventilation shafts were still very noisy.
