I wouldn't say it was the most 'sumptious' of rooms but certainly comfortable and all the basics were covered.
The hotel is sizeable and as I note, in my view, very much a conference venue but the staff I dealt with were all helpful and friendly. The food was acceptable and reasonably priced. The hotel also benefits from being within a short stroll of a metro station giving easy access to central Washington DC and the tourist attractions. The zoo is also only a short walk from the hotel - and well worth a visit.
