According to the author this hotel is "stunning Scandinavian import" and everything there is "all about style, elegance and designer cool".
The entrance and the lobby are described as "light-filled". The atrium has a lot of space as it "stretches nine floors up" and the author says that such " sense of space " only "the Scandinavians have managed to master". The furniture in the lobby is described as being "cool" and "ergonomic".
Regarding the rooms, the author says that they are "very sexy" and "ooze comfort and class".
Some of the rooms' interior is in blue tones and they have view to the "docks and the Mersey". The other rooms are in "Urban" style and are in "reds and other deep colours". They look to the city centre.
We are informed that each room comes with "all the designer gadgetry you'd expect", such as "flat-screen TVs, funky see-through mini-bars and super-hip bathrooms".
The rooms' sizes are described as being "not especially huge".
