The Conrad Dublin hotel, which was opened in 1989, has recently been "completely refurbished" and is now a "modern property" with "international flavour and prestige". Located on Earlsfort Terrace, there are hotel rooms "overlooking" the National Concert Hall and all of the 192 rooms have data ports, international sockets, "three" telephones, CD players, multi-channel TV, mini-bar, electronic safe and locks. The bathrooms are described as "spacious" and bathrobes as well as "an array of personal amenities" are provided. The standard rooms offer video check-out, "individual" temperature control, bay windows which open and much more. The suites also have sitting areas and a "separate bath and shower". The business center provides "all the usual facilities" and the staff there are "very helpful". There is a restaurant where the author ate a "delicious" meal, which was "so filling" that the third course of his meal remained "untried". There is also a Lobby Lounge where, for example, "Irish afternoon tea" is provided. Even through the hotel bar is located in the basement, it has a terrace and "natural" light. It is designed "like a classic Dublin pub" with a "distinctive central bar" and the author describes the atmosphere as being "great". The hotels fitness center was "small but well formed". Furthermore there is a jogging map available in the hotel, in case you want to do outdoor sports.

Georgina Campbell writes, that the Conrad has "particular appeal" for business guests. The rooms can be used as
"efficient office" and there are "extensive state-of-the-art" conference facilities at the hotel. The staff is described as "friendly, well-trained and helpful". From the "pleasantly contemporary" bedrooms, the guest can
"enjoy" views across the city. The restaurant is designed with "contemporary classic" style. Altough the wine list
"could be improved", dining here should be an
"enjoyable experience. All in all the hotel is an
"extremely comfortable place to stay".
