We booked this on an all inclusive basis and I am glad we did.The food was great and we never lacked a good choice .The head chef was a great guy who we nicknamed the butcher (sorry Andrew) he had done a great job with the place and all the food was fresh and tasty ,I think you would really have to be very picky not to be able to find something for every meal. Even the food at the pool bar which we ate in at many of the lunchtimes was really top quality.
We were there for two weeks which allowed us to have two free meals at the Italian restaurant as well (this does include the drinks if you are unsure) and the food and the service was brilliant.
The pool is massive with plenty of sun loungers and shades to go round.
A bus runs regularly into Sharm which is 10-15 mins away depending on whether the driver is just doing 20 over the speed limit or 50 ,and the bus to the beach is 5-10 mins depending on the same.
The beach area is very nice but there is a lot of steps down to it and not really suitable for anybody with walking difficulties also although it is called a beach area and there is sand ,loungers and shade there is not actually a way into the sea apart from the jettys from where the water is about 25 feet deep.Although you can get a great view of the fish and coral from these. The beach bar offers a good selection of drinks and snacks and is great for chilling out.
The Windsor bar you have to pay for but was great for a relaxing drink in real comfort every now and again and they have happy hour between 6-7 & 9-10 with half price drinks,we were often the only ones in there though.
Looked a great fitness centre for anybody interested in that ,I looked from the outside.

Bad points.
The service in the piano bar at the beginning of the holiday was pretty bad and you could often be waiting 10 mins for a drink after ordering it the bar even though they wasn't really busy and the guy behind the bar just didn't seem bothered.This did improve significantly though towards the end of the holiday as they had different staff,grumpy was still there doing nothing but the others were very good.
The pool bar was well staffed and all very friendly and a laugh but again not very quick with the drinks ,you could often sit there 5 mins before anybody came to take your order even though they were not busy and then wait longer for it to be bought to you
Dinking water in the rooms was a nightmare as they never provided any apart from first night .You get tea and coffee but no water.This was ok being all inclusive as we just picked up a couple of bottles at each meal or from the bars but must have been terrible for anybody on b&b ,plus you have to keep remembering to get some.
Entertainment was almost none exhistant but we knew that before we went so was not a problem for us but not the hotel for anybody wanting 3-4 hrs of nightly entertainment.
Overall a very good hotel,roomy,spotless,a few niggles to iron out but we enjoyed it.
