The summit can be reached by cable car (bondinho) that can transfer up to 75 passangers along a 1400-metre route between the Babilônia and Urca hills every half hour. The cable cars were originally introduced by the engineer Augusto Ferreira Ramos in 1912. It is also possible to reach the top on foot if you have the stamina and strength.

I have given this the highest rating because it simply is one of the most beautiful views you can see anywhere in the world. From the top you can observe the beautiful panoramic view of Rio's mountain range and coastal areas. The top commands a glorious view of the Guanabara Bay with the Botafogo beach to the North and Copacabana to the South, and a rugged landscape in-between. The sunsets are particularly spectacular.
