The Hilton Towers share a building with the Oberoi, which "lords" over the Nariman Point. Described as a "deluxe" downtown hotel, with "glorious" facilities and a "massive arcade of swish shops", Lonely Planet also says that it has "several of the city's finest restaurants", which serve "some of the best food" in town. Inside the "looming white tower", "airy open spaces and bubbling water features", with "plenty of little luxuries" in the guestrooms, all add up to "raise this hotel above the competition". Joe Bindloss explains that the guests here "like to live well", and that "businessmen talk shop" in the "sophisticated Opium Den bar". The advantage of this hotel, according to the guide is its "sea views", its rooftop pool, and its "vast" shopping arcade. Considered to be "one of the best downtown choices", all the South Mumbai attractions are "right on its doorstep".

In the author´s opinion the premises are "contemporary modern" and "superbly maintained". He stayed in a "Deluxe sea-facing room" with a bathroom which was "spacious" and "intelligently designed". The service was "outstanding" and the hotel´s restaurant was "among the finest anywhere". Just the breakfast was, in his opinion, the hotel´s "weak spot". Although the service and offerings were "acceptable", it did not meet the "usual high standards expected of Oberoi".
