If you like hanging out with the locals Plus Camping Girasole is a great base to explore further into the mediaeval towns and villages like Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano and Greve that produce all the fantastic tastes and flavours of Tuscany. Cancellations must be done at least 24hrs before check in to avoid being charged for your first night’s stay. MONEY MATTERSFor your added security we use a chipcard payment system on the campsite. On arrival you are issued with a rechargeable electronic chipcard that you use to pay for food and drinks from the bars and restaurant, and items from the market and bazaar. The card is rechargeable at reception only by cash or credit card. Casa al Ponte is a large villa located near the ancient town of Figline Valdarno which is in the centre of a triangle formed by the cities of Florence, Siena and Arezzo. Florence is approximately 30km away and both Siena and Arezzo are within easy reach. The swimming pool is located a few metres from the villa in the beautiful well maintained gardens. IFrom here there are spectacular views over vineyards and rolling countryside to the Valdarno and Pratomagno hills in the distance. The front door opens into a wide entrance hall with terracotta tiled floors and a traditional tiled and beamed ceiling. Doors ahead lead to the main stairwell with a door on the left to a bathroom with shower. Continuing on ahead is the dining room which has an oval dining table and chairs, to one side is a wooden dresser and in the corner an open fireplace. The well equipped kitchen is off to the left, this unusually shaped semi circular room has large windows making it very bright and airy. There is a modern oven with gas hobs, a microwave oven, dishwasher and free standing fridgefreezer. To the right of the lounge, steps lead up to a utility room with washing machine and internal access to the covered loggia, this has a door out to the garden near to the pool. Upstairs there are four bedrooms, each one of which is individually, tastefully furnished. On the right is a large bedroom with a double bed with painted scrollwork bed frame. A further flight of stairs leads up to the second level where there is a very pretty bedroom with a painted wooden double bed, large wardrobe and matching furniture. Opposite is the bathroom with shower.
