This charming family-run hotel is a very nice place to stay and typical for the area of the Black Forest. It offers guests 14 rooms in total, as well as facilities including a hotel safe, breakfast room, WLAN Internet access, a car park and bicycle hire service. This family-friendly ski hotel is located in a quiet area where there is very little traffic. It lies within a health resort near the forest with walking trails beginning directly behind the hotel. The area is also ideal for cross-country running and mountain biking, and a 15-minute walk will take guests to the centre of the village of Hinterzarten. Restaurants, bars, pubs, links to the public transport network (bus and train stations) and shops can all by found within a 15-minute walk of the hotel, while a little further afield guests can go to Freiburg (30 minutes on public transport), or Europa Park Rust and Lake Constance which are both an hour's drive away. The Feldberg/Rinken skiing areas are also nearby, just a 20-minute drive from the residence. The rooms come with balcony or terrace and all rooms dispose of an en suite bathroom with shower, toilet and hairdryer, as well as a double bed, minibar, cable TV and safe. Other in-room amenities include a radio, Internet access and individually regulated air conditioning and heating. Golfclub Hochschwarzwald is just a 10-minute drive from the hotel. A typical German breakfast buffet with homemade bread and jam is served in the hotel each morning, and typical German dishes are served for half-board stays. From Freiburg, take the B 31 to Hinterzarten. In Hinterzarten, head in the direction of 'Ski Museeum' and take the first road to the right after the Skimuseeum. Then turn right again to reach the hotel. Check-in is available until 10 pm.
