[apostolomigs, 04/25/2012] Amazing experience...can only recommend to anyone visiting Budapest to try the Opera. You can take a guided tour of the incredible building but for almost the same price (10£) you can assist to a live performance in one of the beautifully decorated private boxes - they say its limited view but its better than many London theatres.
During intermission had the chance to try the amazing Hungarian sweet champagne on the balcony of the Opera House overlooking the beautifully illuminated Andrassy Road.
The Opera his subtitled in hungarian but most of the people assisting to the show were tourists
