The Grand Imperial Mosque of Sultan Abdülmecid is is situated right at the Bosphorus Pier Square. The mosque was built in 1854 and was ordered by Sultan Abdülmecit. It was designed by Nikogos Balyan and his so n Garabet Amira Balyan in neo-Baroque style. The windows let the light reflections from the water shine in the mosque.

The Naval Museum first opened its doors to the publick in 1897 when it was known as the 'Sea Museum'. It contains a rich collection of exhibits which are divided between two buildings and the garden. The garden has items from many battleships. The first building contains old ships, model ships and items from the private yacht of Kemal Ataturk, the 'father' of modern Turkey, as well as many paintings of naval battles. Finally, the second building exhibits ships dating from the time of the Ottoman Empire. The museum is opened daily except Monday and Tuesday from 09.30a.m. - 12.30p.m. and 1.30p.m - 5.30p.m.

With the addition of new shops, the mall now covers an area of 110,000 square meters and is the first Turkish shopping mall to be awarded the ISO 9002 quality standard. Ample parking is provided and regular events such as fashion shows are hosted.
