Istanbul Naval Museum
The Naval Museum first opened its doors to the publick in 1897 when it was known as the 'Sea Museum'. It contains a rich collection of exhibits which are divided between two buildings and the garden. The garden has items from many battleships. The first building contains old ships, model ships and items from the private yacht of Kemal Ataturk, the 'father' of modern Turkey, as well as many paintings of naval battles. Finally, the second building exhibits ships dating from the time of the Ottoman Empire. The museum is opened daily except Monday and Tuesday from 09.30a.m. - 12.30p.m. and 1.30p.m - 5.30p.m.

The well known fish-restaurant is located in a traditional old Ottoman townhouse. Summertime there is an outside dining area which can easily extend onto the street if need should be. There are no menus and guests will be offered a variation of meze and the catch of the day.
Bostancı Show Center
The area called Bostanci Gösteri Merkezi is one of the most important place for nice concerts. Bostanci Gösteri Merkezi was opened in 1992 in Bostanci. It is the only concert area on the Asian side of Istanbul. The capacity is for almost 2500 people. You can go there from Asian side with minibus in Kadiköy and Kartal, from European side you can use Kadiköy-Taksim buses. Also you can go there with your own car because there is a car-park near the building.
The Grand Imperial Mosque of Sultan Abdülmecid is is situated right at the Bosphorus Pier Square. The mosque was built in 1854 and was ordered by Sultan Abdülmecit. It was designed by Nikogos Balyan and his so n Garabet Amira Balyan in neo-Baroque style. The windows let the light reflections from the water shine in the mosque.
