[jo145, 01/29/2009] The hotel is just a few minutes from the shops, musuems etc in Downtown Kamloops, and very close to restaurants.
The day we arrived in Kamloops, it had been raining and we were glad that the hotel had efficient air conditioning because it was very humid. Check in was very fast as we were given keycards before we left the Rocky Mountaineer train, and our cases had already been delivered to our rooms. Reception was a mixture of stone walls and woodwork and had a few settees and chairs, some people took the lifts and others the stairs and we were soon in our comfortable bedroom.
