Paphos Amathus Beach is a 5 star hotel in Paphos, Cyprus. It is located 2km from the fishing harbour at Paphos and 4km from the town centre. There are 273 air conditioned guest rooms and suites with en-suite marble bathroom, hair dryer, direct dial telephone, mini bar, room safe, bathrobes, slippers, tea and coffee making facilities, television with satellite TV channels and pay per view movies, climate control, Play Station for a fee and high speed internet access for an additional charge. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is available every day and there are nine restaurants, lounges and bars which offer a wide range of cuisines and drinks. The spa and wellness centre has a sauna, steam room, beauty treatments, massage therapists and a fully equipped gymnasium. In the grounds there are a number of fresh water swimming pools including one for children. For conferences and meetings there are four rooms of various sizes, the largest of which can hold 425 people and are complete with modern technical equipment.

Tombs of the Kings

Tombs of the Kings is located close to Paphos and is not, as the name suggests, the burial ground for royalty but rather for high officials. The underground chambers, which feature frescoes and columns, are cut out from the rock and date to the Hellenistic period (3 B.C.) The opening hours are from 8am - 5pm (November - March), 8am - 6pm (April - May, September - October) and 8am - 7.30pm (June - August). Entrance Fee: 1,70 Euro
