It contains many precious works of art including the Iconostasis /1821/ and the other icons made by Renaissance painters during the period of 1837 to 1838. A patron saint's day is 15th of August .
Kashtata na Todor Kableshkov
Todor Kableshkov was a 19th Century revolutionary leader and one of the leaders of Bulgaria's April Uprising against the Ottoman rulers. His family home is in Koprivshtitsa and is now open to the public as a museum. The house was built by a local master-builder/architect called Gencho Mladenov in 1845 - just a few years before Kableshkov's birth. His family were wealthy and the house reflects that with a grand facade and exquisitely decorated interior. The museum includes an exhibition on his revolutionary activities. The museum is open from 9:30 - 17:30 every day except Monday.
