Market Square - the largest square of Krakow, as well as the largest square in medieval Europe (approximately 200m x 200m). In the central part of the square is the Cloth Hall (old merchants' stalls), next to City Hall (remnants of the old town hall). On the other side of the Cloth Hall is a tiny Catholic church (St Adalbert) and the monument of Adam Mickiewicz. In the north-east corner of the market is St Mary's Basilica.
