[03/02/2010] Children's town is just like a heaven for children, at least it should be, in my opinion! It isn't small but it isn't big either. Nevertheless, there is plenty of playground equipment, solely for children. [02/11/2010] Being in Ventspils it would be a shame not to visit a Blue Flag Beach. It could be cold or windy, but it is still a nice place to have a walk or watch the sunset even in winter. I've never been to Lepaja's beach, but Jurmala - is nothing to compare!

[11/27/2009] The Bremen Musicians in Riga is an interesting sculpture, which obviously reminds the fairy tale, written by the brothers Grimm. (If you know what am I talking about =) ) It is slightly different from the Bremen Town Musicians in Bremen, which is a symbol of that city. The monument in Bremen shows four animals, a donkey, a dog, a cat and a rooster standing on each other in a form of pyramid and animals do look better or more natural to my taste.
