Valley Gardens is an English Heritage Grade II listed park in the centre of Harrogate which represents a typical example of a Victorian era community park. It contains playing areas and tennis courts, pitch and putt and crazy golf, bowls, boating ponds, bandstands, formal and less formal gardens and plenty of places to take a promenade. The gardens are remarkable in containing more natural mineral springs than any other park. During the summer, free band concerts take place in the park with a particular emphasis on brass band music.
