Hotel Rafayel on the Left Bank

Aiming to embrace green technologies with five-star luxury, the Rafayel on the Left Bank is part of the Falcon Wharf Development, set south of Central London.

Inspired by the river that the Rafayel looks over, each room-type is named after different rivers from around the world. All rooms carry up-to-the-minute technology, flat screen TV, a safe and offer free Wi-Fi.

The hotel aims to lower the average London hotel guest’s carbon footprint by 20% using techniques such as rainwater harvesting and LED lighting without compromising comfort.

The hotel’s restaurant Banyan on the Thames offers al fresco dining overlooking the river with a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu which, according to the hotel, are focused on the ‘modern-day health conscious generation.’ The Crystal Bar offers lighter snacks to accompany their cocktail list.

A shuttle service runs every 30 minutes from 7.30am to 10pm to Clapham Junction and Clapham Common stations.
