I have stayed here a several times now since it opened about a year ago. I find the place to be exceptionally nice and friendly. The rooms are not huge but modern, well equipped and most importantly very clean!
The deal clincher is the price as you get a huge good quality hotel for the same price as a B+B, from experience though you do have to book about two weeks before to get the best deals. Recently they started to get really busy and put the price up if you try to book in the last two days before you get to the hotel which is annoying so book in advance if you can!!!
About three weeks ago i spoke to the reception re the room lighting and noise travelling through the rooms with doors between bedroom on one of my stays. They called be back two weeks later to tell me it had been resolved! Food is not brilliant apparently but i normally do not eat at Hotels so i go to Shoreditch for a meal or recently i went to Braoadway market and Columbia Road which were about 5mins walk.
Will definately be coming back for my weekly meetings in the City if your lucky they will give you a free shuttle ride if you can book the service on the phone early enough. If not walk to the top of the road and you will see Cambridge Heatkh station which will get you to Liverpool St station in 5mins or apparently there are two buses which take you there from opposite the hotel but haven't worked this out yet.
