During our stay in this hotel, we were victims of a robbery, all our cash was stolen from the safe deposit box in our guest room.
This type of aggression and crime is unjustified in a four-star hotel which advertises extra security with its in-room safe deposit boxes, and charges accordingly. After all, guests staying in a hotel of this category, expect a safe, secure and trustworthy environment.
In view of these facts, the hotel should have acted immediately, should have reimbursed us the stolen money without delay, and should have made us feel "home away from home", which the hotel management failed to do.
If you are planning to stay in this hotel, think again, you might want to reconsider your stay in this hotel until management takes its duties seriously, and accepts responsibility for the welfare of its guests, their personal safety, and the protection of their belongings.
We suggest that Sol Meliá conducts a total safety/security, and property protection quality control of this hotel to protect its guests, and thus regain the necessary trust to attract "clients".
