Disneyland Paris is not actually situated within Paris but in Coupvray, 35 kilometres east of the centre of Paris. Parking costs 8€ for a car per day, and a standard day ticket into the park costs 60€ for an adult and 54€ for a child. The park is open in the summer from 10am to 8pm, and the studios are open from 10am to 7pm.
The park offers a large amount of different options. There are themed hotels, restaurants, cinemas, live shows, concerts, bars and of course the rides are what you can expect to find. There are rollercoasters for the big children and Disney personalities for the younger visitors.
The park first opened in 1992. It's the second Disneyland after America's but the first to be truly run by Disney. After Disneyland Resort Paris, a second theme park opened in 2002, Walt Disney Studios Park.
Disneyland Paris is one of the most visited attractions in Europe.
