Stadio Giuseppe Meazza dates from 1925 when its construction began, the first match was played here in 1926. The Stadio Giuseppe Meazza has a seating capacity of 85,700 of which 5,200 are VIP seats and 200 reserved for press. Basilica - Santuario Santa Maria delle Grazie

Basilica - Santuario Santa Maria delle Grazie

Santa Maria delle Grazie or Our Lady of Grace in English is a church and convent in Milan that dates from the 15th century. It is especially noted for its mural of Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper, which hangs in the refectory of the convent. The architect Guiniforte Solari designed the church on the orders of Duke Ludovico Sforza. The location on which it stands was the site of an old small chapel. Construction of the building began around 1465 and the convent was complete by 1469, however construction of the church was not finished until around 1490. During the Second World War the Santa Maria delle Grazie was heavily bombed and both the church and convent were almost destroyed, however the wall with the Last Supper survived. The church is open for visitors daily (except Monday). Ticket prices are €11.25 per adult, which includes a guided tour, advance bookings are recommended. The Santa Maria delle Grazie was added to the UNESCO world heritage sites list in 1980.
