[martanikolova, 01/12/2012] This is, for sure, the most beautiful monastery in Bulgaria I have ever seen. There is some special energy around the whole place, everything is peaceful and calm. I felt some kind of peaceful emotion and I really loved it. There is beauty everywhere - in the monastery, in the main church, in the yard, in the surroundings - everywhere.
It is located very near Sofia - about 55 km away, so you can reach it by car for about 1 hour drive. It is near to a small city called Varshets, too (maybe about 10 minutes drive by car).
