The village’s shops and restaurants are just a short walk away.\n\nThe city of Swansea is just 5 miles (8 km) away and the University of Wales is just 3 miles (5 km) away.\n\nMumbles is the gateway to the glorious Gower Peninsular, the first area in the United Kingdom to be designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, in 1956.\n\nBracelet and Limeslade bays are both within walking distance and, just a little further on, there is a scenic coastal pathway which will take you to Langland and Caswell beaches.By Car (from the M4 motorway):\n- Leave the M4 motorway at junction 42 and head onto the A483 to Swansea. \n- Follow this road until you reach the A4067 towards Mumbles/Gower A 4067.\n- Take the A4067 to Mumbles.\n- The Coast House is 0.5 miles (0.8 km) past the shopping area, on the right-hand side.\n\nBy Bus:\nArrive at the Quadrant bus station in Swansea, walk around the corner to the bus lanes. Take the number 2A bus or the number 3A bus from bus lane number one. Ask for the George, Southend, which will drop you outside the house.\n\nBy Train:\nTaxis are readily available from just outside Swansea train station or you can walk to the Quandrant bus station, which is approximately 0.5 miles (0.8 km) away. Once you are at the bus station, you can follow the instructions above.On the seafront in Mumbles, with spectacular sea views of Swansea Bay, this small, charming, family-run guest house prides itself on its comfortable accommodation and tasty breakfasts.\n\nThe Coast House has just 7 rooms, guaranteeing its guests friendly, attentive, individual service and a quiet, relaxing break. The Shoreline Hotel is situated on the sea front, offering spectacular panoramic views across Swansea Bay and the Mumbles Promenade, central to Mumbles and its beautiful surroundings. Mumbles is a very popular village, with a huge selection of shops,pubs and restaurants. It is situated 4 miles from Swansea City Centre. Mumbles, known as the gateway to Gower due its location on the edge of the Gower Peninsula, is a Victorian seaside resort overflowing with character and charm. We are a completely non smoking hotel. It is the hotel policy that if there is any smoking in the rooms we will charge an extra nights stay. Check in times are from 2pm and last check in is 10pm. If guests arrive after 10pm, a £20.00 late fee will be charged per room unless previously arranged at time of booking with hotel management.
