A good hotel in central Manhatten

We stayed at the Carlton in August 2009 and would definitely recommend it and consider it again on future visits to New York. The hotel lobby is impressively fitted out and the staff were both friendly and very helpful. The room was 'cozy' (not in my experience unusual for Manhatten hotels!) but comfortable, clean and well equipped. Museum of Sex
