Northumberland Cheese Company

Northumberland Cheese Company

This 19th century granary has been converted into a cheese-making dairy as well as a coffee and cheese shop. Visitors can walk along the designated paths and watch the cheese-making process through large observation windows. All the cheeses can be tasted before a purchase is made, and both ranges of cheeses, Connoiseurs' Choice and Northumberland Premium are made from fully tracable herds. The cheese has been made for 21 years and some of the cheeses are multiple winners in the World and British Cheeses awards. As well as a range of cheeses, visitors can also buy different home made foods including flans, baked tarts and scones. Opening hours: Monday- Sunday 10am-5pm
