Hotel Chat Noir Design Hôtel

Le Chat Noir is situated at the foot of Montmartre and offers 40 non-smoking soundproofed and air-conditioned rooms in an 8 storey building, the highest two of which have views over the rooftops of Paris. Between chic and relaxed atmosphere, The Black Cat has bright rooms with a clean and designer decor and a touch of humour, a wink to the shadow theatre that is part of the story of the place. Besides the technological equipment in use for a hotel of this category: flat screen TV, DVD player, free Wifi high speed connection to the internet and private safe, guests will enjoy a private bathroom with shower or bathtub and a hair dryer. A multilingual staff will be there for guests and will assist them 24 hours a day. Breakfast buffet is served in the provided room. The location of the hotel offers numerous daytime walks, with the Place du Tertre and its artists and the Basilique du Sacre-Coeur. But night life is also worth a stroll too with the district of Pigalle, its cabarets, theatres and nightclubs. Finally, the metro station Place Blanche will be a handy way to quickly reach the Opera, the Madeleine, the Place de la Concorde and the big department stores of the area.

Nice surrindings, right next to montmartre, lovely cafes nearby for breakfast, not for kids as it's in the middle of red light disrtict (it's safe though). Clean rooms, reception staff could be trained better

Moulin Rouge

Moulin Rouge

The Moulin Rouge first opened its doors in 1889. After a couple of years of reputable balls, the Cabaret became famous world wide largely due to Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec's "French Cancan" in 1891. The line up of dancers to perform this dance require great agility and professionalism. Each girl is carefully selected in function of her age, silhouette and dancing skills. Dancers from the whole world dream of being a Cancan dancer. Until the first world war, the cabaret was mostly devoted to operettas. It was only in 1951 when Georges France bought the Moulin Rouge that it was re-transformed, into Paris' most sought after nightly events. Today over 100 artists perform, with over 1000 extravagant costumes. Laurent Tarridec is the famous chef who proposes top quality lunches and dinners. The cheapest menu and show here costs 150€, and a show without meal or drinks costs 90€. The cabaret also hosts congresses, seminars, galas, fashion parades, TV casts, press conferences and more.
