The Park Hyatt Paris-Vendome is a five star luxury hotel situated in the heart of Paris on the Rue de la Paix, right near the Place Vendôme and the Place de la Concorde. Not far from the hotel are many of Paris' most prestigious attractions such as the Champs Elysées and l'Arc de Triomphe the Louvre, Opera house and Notre-Dame de Paris. The Park Hyatt has 178 guestrooms and suites which are spread over seven floors. These are equipped with air conditioning, a high speed Internet connection, CD/DVD players, satellite television, an in room safe and mini bar. Eglise de La Madeleine

L’église de la Madeleine is a Roman Catholic Church situated on the Place Louis XV, in the 8th arrondissement in the heart of Paris, to the north of Place de la Concorde, west of Place Vendôme and east of the Saint Augustin Church. The present monument was built in honour of Napoleons army in 1755. The Church’s emplacement was previously that of a synagogue which was seized by the Bishop Maurice de Sully in 1182 and made into a Church dedicated to Mary Magdalene. After two false starts of the construction, Napoleon elaborated a architectural competition in 1806 won by Beaumont but the Emperor chose Pierre-Alexandre Barthélémy Vignon to carry it out. It is based on an antique Neo-Classical style design resembling the Maison Carré in Nîmes. Jacques-Marie Huvé replaced the Vignon who died before finishing his construction. The fifty two columns measure 20 metres height wise, these are present around the entire structure. The Church has a single nave with three domes and above the high alter, a statue of Mary Magdalene being carried to heaven by two angles.

There is a collection of perfume bottles from the past 3000 years on display and also a 19th century copper distilling machine with which the raw materials had been extracted. The museum is situated on the upper floors of the building and offers free guided tours, the shop is located on the ground floor.
